Sad News about Sarah at the Tipsy Butler

I am very sad to say I just learned that Sarah of the Tipsy Butler passed away. For those on forum who did not get the chance to meet her, she was THE most gracious hostess ever. Words fail me.

That explains why we have not heard from her. She was such a bright and truly FEY person. She had the same sense of FUN as Maggy who comes on here in another presence - a something I envy. I had been thinking of her and was going to e-mail her but got caught up in the DD visit - I do not think she would have gotten the e-mail.
Even the name of her inn evoked the spirit of fun. She will be missed.

Very sad. She began innkeeping just after us. Looking at their res calendar, everything is blocked for this season. Wonder if he's deciding whether to continue.

So very sad. I never met her in person, but loved her spirit that came through here on the forum.

Let me say it was a lot of fun to sing Monty Python at her breakfast table.
Always look on the bright side of life...
It hits me more each time I think about it.

How sad for all of us. My heart goes out to her husband and family.

Something else - she always dressed for breakfast in a 60's cocktail dress and heels.

I too am saddened. Had an opportunity to meet Sarah and I know how much she really put her whole self into innkeeping. She will be sorely missed, but life is better for having a chance to share in her zest for life.

I am crushed by this news.
She was one in a million.

One of my more memorable road trips was with Morticia to Sarah's place. She was really an amazing hostess. Wow, this is sad news.

Oh, my...I'm totally bowled over by this news. She was young. I was so hoping to meet her some day. She always struck me as the embodiment of living life to the fullest and embracing it with gusto.
