We are going to stay at a B&B in several weeks, for spring college football game.
I noticed they promote several things (add-ons) or can be shipped from their website to buyer. Included:
- luxury sheets (odd?)
- expensive chocolate-covered strawberries (have seen this before)
- picnic baskets (have seen this a lot)
Not really sure whether offering items is profitable or more a distraction. Guess we will learn once we are open. But I am looking at any potential revenue stream that is not more trouble than it is worth...

I do embroidery and have put some on the web site to sell - will sell to anyone. No takers but feel the updates won't do my web site any harm.

i am a big fan of nice, chunky mugs - especially those made by local potters. deep, rich colors and logo's on them make them interesting. but i'm not interested in mass produced mugs at all.

I don't sell any items other than rooms but the one thing I get asked all the time is where the guests can buy the sheets we use. I am sure I could make a lot of money on this but do not want the hassle of selling things. I refer them to Innstyle who I buy my sheets from but I am sure if I had them available here to sell I would sell many. I also think the handmade mugs with the inn's logo would be a great seller.

Which sheets do you have? I bought some last year from there and they're awful.

They are the white wrinkle free 600 thread count sheets that are made just for them in Pakistan. The stains lift out very well on this washing on cold water. They last about a year if you washing constantly.
