Not so true. Using my method below to individually block specific offenders works for me 99.999% of the time.I personally hate these referral spammers, did you know that they don't even have to visit your website to do it either?
They pretend that they are using your site by faking some technical stuff and contacting Google analytics directly using your tracking number, so if you think of blocking them access to your website then its all a bit pointless.
Why do they do this? It's purely so you visit their website because they send you traffic.
I wish google would have an easy button to block their data from view..
