The experts keep proclaiming that people want to see videos on your websites/online marketing. They say that if they watch them you have already sold them on your product. That was from an article I read shared by a B&B marketing expert on Twitter this past week.
It reminded me that I had not had the chance to put my video clips together from a recent nearby road trip, so I got on it. Disclaimer: what I do is never everyone's cup of tea.

yes the place has the video too.
oh and ps they hire from the local jail. i didn't say that in it, but will let you know here, so it is all part of the 'charm'

Honestly JB, you do so much on your site, your blog, your FB page and on this forum. I feel dizzy......

This has come at a time we are judging D marketing. Hence why we asked if you or any one had heard of the company we asked about a few days ago.
Seems that company was saying it even matters on pictures we show what we serve for breakfast, grounds, on site and what is around us for things for them to see why visiting your area . Man having a B&B is just not working at the house but what is around the place, We are now in the age of give ever one a tour and a place to stay and what am I going to see and do at your town/ city or village. gosh this is getting to be a lot to be responsible for.
Or is this a smart way for business/ company's to find their place in the market to make money on our backs . or some very smart people to do what they can themselves , Either way we must get on board if we want to be a head till the next idea comes along. To me
I see having a web site is just not enough or a blog or face book or a book it now or button. or reviews ! where do we find the time to do this and all the cooking washing shopping and family life etc... well we have to call in others to help or we will burn out..... There are days where i feel or whelmed can I do every thing? yes some days I can but over a long time Well I am not sure. One day at a time for sure.

Its simply awesome and I am very much interested in marketing concept. I read many articles online about marketing, it types and processes.

I do think I get what you are saying, but not entirely certain.
What I can say is that you are correct that guests are looking for an experience more and more at the high end of our market and this is moving it's way into all of our industry price points. When we redid our website, the decision to put the planning page first was met with some resistance because we were told that he inn had to be primary. That is changing. You have to sell the experience.
Having said that, we have found that all the work we did to get a great page for things to do, including site specific photography, has paid off and is does not require us to constantly interact with it. We are still working out a way to do this with our social media. It MUST be within the boundaries of what we can do happily.
