Failures - Poison or Fuel?
Your failures can destroy you or drive you.
Everyone makes mistakes. It's how we REALLY learn.
Will you let your failures destroy you, or drive you?

Probably a little bit of both; initially destroyed and then driven. I always strive not to become cynical.

Yes, at first it is such a blow but then you stand back, think about it, and get to work on turning it around. It is actually quite refreshing to get a jolt every now and then.

I agree with Country Girl. Nobody likes to be corrected... Failure is a correction that can't be argued or reasoned with, just something to learn from.

see I see failure as a tricky thing - what is the difference between a failure and a mistake?
I have made plenty of mistakes - every day - however I would not consider I have ever truly failed at anything which is actually important - ie took my ruddy driving test 7 times to get passed ie failed but plugged on till I passed as I consider it a vital life skill and so on.
I have made mistakes which to a certain extent are fixable or not fixable but you deal with them the best way you can in the situation which is all anyone can ask for - so in my opinion its how you deal with a thing that matters - obsessing doesn't fix it and to my mind is unproductive.
It like when people say "well why did you do that?" well obviously it seemed to be the thing to do at the time - you made the best decision you could with the information you had at the time
