You know how we talk about perception?
One guest says you aren't in the mountains and demands their money back, or another who acts like you are inferior...and then these guests this morning praising our location how we are so close to all the hiking and recreation and they will be back for sure.
Whenever we get distressed over one pita we can wait and have someone stay in the exact same room and absolutely love every thing!
Amen.

Yes. I am in the perfect location - for ME. My job is to let the world know it is the perfect location to see ____________ and do _______;
Only those with no eyes to see (or read) and no ears to hear could call your location anything but perfect. Other than ocean, I cannot think of anything you do NOT have. (I am also ocean challenged)

you can never make everyone happy, but the one's who get it, they love us and it makes our hearts sing to hear.

Can't please everybody. I think some people are just naturally negative. Sad way to live.

An educated consumer is a happy consumer. If they do not research their trips/vacation then its not the Innkeepers fault. About 90 % of reservations here I call and ask a few questions, they are given a chance to ask questions. About 40 % of guest do not read the " BnB Confirmation = Print & Read " e-mailed to them. ....... I've just learned to accept this. It is what it is. I just want them to have a peaceful time here and go home refreshed.....

This post is about a good thing, a happy thing. Nothing negative about it, sharing a wonderful compliment.

When my guests arrived on their motorcycle, the first thing they did was show me their lunch bags from the last time they were here. Taking note of my caution about restaurants being open today, they packed a lunch in their bags this morning before leaving the B & B where they stayed the last 3 nights. They said one of their friends used one of the bags yesterday. Mike said, she takes her lunch in it every day when she goes to work. They were here in 2010 and STILL have the bags.
I keep forgetting to take photos. The salad bowl looked barely touched (it was FULL). I served the dinner on the platter so they could help themselves. There were 8 medallions and the platter was full. This is what was left after their meal. I did remember to take photos of dessert.

I totally agree. For every person who ended up in the wrong place, 20 other people are delighted with the accommodations and the location.
