So I'm trying to figure out if bedandbreakfast.com is actually a referral source for me (I have a $500 subscription) and in my Sources, I get just my own website. Anybody know how to actually get my Analytics to do that and tell me how my guests are getting to my website? Sorry if this is a totally ridiculous question.........

The only referrer you see in ga is your own website? My guess is it's not set up properly. Without being listed on any directory you should see referrals from Google, bing, yahoo, etc. You should be able to see what search words people are using. Do you see any of that?
OTOH, have you gone into your stats on the directory to see what those show?
They are never the same but you should see something.

Sounds like your in the wrong section, you need to look for the acquisition>all traffic>referrals
But you will see a hell of a lot of referral spammers there, so you have go a few pages sometimes to see what you need

Yes, I'm looking in the acquisition - all traffic- referrals and still nothing. I may not be set up properly. How difficult can it be???? !! Any suggestions? Or it is so complicated I should make it a separate thread? All help appreciated.

Are you on the new analytics or the old system?
analytics.js or ga.js

Go to www.google.com/analytics/ and see... in admin, you can see the tracking code.

Who did your new site? It's quite possible you are seeing redirects from your old site. Thus, all your incoming traffic looks like it's coming from your own site.
Can you check the ga code on your site to see if it is installed?
It will depend on how your site was designed where you might easily find that. Generally, you can right click outside the text area of your home page and select view source code. Ga code is generally at the top or bottom of the page of code.

You guys rock! It's taken a couple of days, but figured it out thanks to all your suggestions - now I have some data to prove that my membership listing may not be worth the money. Thanks, guys!
