My significant other is out of town, I have a wedding for 10 people to perform followed by a reception dinner to serve. I have tradesmen coming in to talk about work, and my phone won't stop ringing off the hook with prerecorded teleweasel calls. Got so mad after the 8th one I just pounded the "0" button and held it for 20 seconds. The recording stopped.
Got me to thinking - is there any touch-tone we could hammer out to crash autodialers? Lets get some of these hackers I keep hearing about working on it!

What I find awful is you can hang up but the message doesn't turn off until it's done. That it totally illegal. Not that most of the calls aren't as well.
Booking. Com has a message when you need to verify you are at your own computer. That also continues to play even after you hang up. It pays for another 60 seconds tying up the phone line.
I will say that we had very few weasel calls in Vermont but we didn't own a business there. It's much worse in more populous states.

Our daily telegoogle call comes between ten and ten thirty. When it comes later I complain about them being late today!!!!!!
