Which website building company is the best and easiest?

I'm tired of having an unresponsive webmaster. I want the next one to be ME! I am looking for suggestions after looking at several options, like web.com, wix.com, and MANY others.

Have you considered buying a template and using Word Press?
It is annoying when you can't get a response when you need one.
It took me eons to make the switch to a WP-based site but it does what I want and it's semi-easy to learn.
Try to avoid having advertising from another company on your site. Some website building sites have different levels of payment with the free to cheap versions usually meaning you have a big ad on your site.

weebly or wix for something similar, but I agree with Mort on Wordpress. It is the gold standard. A good template, plugins, etc.
Woo (Commerce) has a good reputation related to WP themes.
Your website is SO central are keeping it updated/fresh content very important for SEO. You can get someone to help you/educate you in the setup, but the owner needs to keep after it reasonably.

I agree. They mentioned Wix. It is a somewhat simple solution, but it is always better to have your own domain and I think WordPress is the clear winner. I have read a lot on the reasons, and I intend only to use that once started.
But starting out, some people might be intimidated by WP.

I love weebly - we use our own domain. Very inexpensive. Very easy and responsive. I created the site myself and I like it. But it's for a church that's always running close to being in the red so I don't have a lot of options.
For my other job we have wordpress. They paid someone to create the template so it would be original. I make changes to it all the time but we pay for someone to watch over things.

I have done the last free websites for friends on Squarespace and I did them in a day or less. Their tech support isn't good but the have great documentation and videos and you can online chat. Once you get the hand of it it is much easier than Wordpress. It is fairly inexpensive with lots of templates AND IT AUTOMATILLY MAKES YOUR SITE PHONE AND TABLET FRIENDLY! The built in metrics make it easy to see where people are coming from who visit. No widgets to load or add on.

The problem with these places are seo and being found. Most WP themes are responsive these days.

thanks for the endorsement, but i am up to my eyeballs and dont see a light at the end of the tunnel right now.i am planning to attend a wordpress camp next month...if i can get away.

If you can do wordpress its a great option, you will need to buy a good theme though!
There are hotel website builders out there too... which makes it really easy to make hotel websites.

WordPress is often the way to go, try it out. As the most popular CMS in the world, there is no lack of themes (free and premium), video tutorials (practically in any language), a ton of platforms where you can find freelancers and developers, etc.

Agreed - sites like wordpress (which originally was created for bloggers) can take a lot of time to figure out - especially if one is not that tech-savvy.
