I understand we have contributors from UK, Australia and Canada. Excuse me for a moment while I discuss the upcoming US holiday.
So what do you do to mark the 4th? Party for the guests?
I will be making watermelon in star shapes with blueberries for our fresh fruit. I wish I could carve watermelon into cool shapes. Not my skill. I will also do yogurt parfaits in red, white and blue and probably berry muffins. I already have red and white flowers on the tables in vases with blue rocks.
We love the holidays. We joke about becoming "Holiday Inn." I enjoy seasonal flavors. Maybe because in New England, you need something to look forward to to get you through the winter!
