What a nice surprise to open this site on a gloomy Monday and be reminded of the awesome weekend we just had! Thank you again!
Birthday was quiet. We grilled steak, corn on the cob and zucchini and enjoyed our (brand new) back deck with the "Private" sign on it.
I loved having a three day weekend to embrace my inn in summer. I miss it when I come into the city for work.
My 4th of July watermelon stars with blueberries and coconut were a hit!

I made this for my fruit this morning. The muffins were surprise muffins (Hers hey Kisses in them this morning) and baked oatmeal was the entree.

Yes. I meant to say what was on it. It is a seedless watermelon slice with Rainier cherry halves, red raspberries, and blueberries, and mince coconut for the "cheese". The papaya I planned to use went south on me so went to the curb instead. You can use any fruit you want - and it does not take much. If you use a regular large watermelon you can cut it in more wedges - this was cut in 4.I made this for my fruit this morning.
