An innkeeper is taking his battle to recoup for damages to the Internet.
Here is the negative marketing website this innkeeper made for the guest's business.
Check out the pictures of the damages & bloody beating that took place.

No. Use the court system. Despite the innkeeper's frustration and not being compensated.
I would not resort to this.
What kind of further damage might they inflict on the innkeeper's property and/or family, or friends or 'my people ... who will pick up the cash'.

Don't mess with mad innkeepers in the Internet Age!
Hope this doesn't bring the inn more trouble than it already has.

Personally, I do not think this was the smartest idea in the box. Not certain I would ant to go here after seeing this. I would prefer to keep things like this as quiet as possible. Thankfully, I have never had this kind of guest, but I certainly would not want to showcase it.

Same here. I'd just want to strangle them quietly.

Not sure about legal backlash on this regarding defamation and may put this innkeeper deeper in the hole financially.
I do feel for these innkeepers but Seashanty is right, use the court system to collect for damages.

Would I want potential guests to see this and wonder "what kind of place is this - would there be fights going on there? Would I want to bring my family there? I travel alone, would I want to check in there?"
Maybe I'd choose to stay someplace else. Fair or not, I stay away from places in the news as having trouble.
I think we all understand wanting to be compensated, we all want to vent ... but not by creating a website to lash out at another business.
I hope he pulls the site.
I also hope he gets compensated for damages.

All I can say is "HOLY CRAP!" politely :) Not sure I would resort to this. But file a lawsuit for sure since police were involved.

Bingo. Now anyone reading this thinks drunken brawls that involve the police and ambulance service could happen while they are there with their kids.

What happened is really horrible, but now the innkeepers have opened themselves up for a lawsuit by bringing their business name into it. The business is not the entity that did all that damage, it was the private people. Unfortunately, people like this know how to use the system. They should just take them to small claims court and garnish the wages of the food truck when they win.

Per someone I know quite well, cement must be used in getting rid of evidence of this act.

Seriously flawed strategy. They advertise quiet luxury. Ah well, it's going to have to play out now ....

I would have used the court system. Get the charges through small claims, get the bailiff, attach the business truck as an asset, let the bank and the credit reporting agencies know....

Received word last night that the innkeeper heard from the guest. The guest said they 'misunderstood' the time frame payment needed to be made.
(if the website was correct, there was an actual date)
Anywho, the website is now down.
Maybe this tactic worked for that lot of guests.

If they're lucky, it didn't have time to get crawled by Google. If it did, guess what's popping up when people search for the name of the inn.
Also, the site now forwards to the guests' twitter page.

I still think it was stupid. It my be down, but as I understand the Internet, it will never go away.

It may be one of those cases where they caught it quickly enough to have it disappear.

It may take it a while to disappear from my mind, though!
