Festivals Aren't Always Fun

Well the last of my festival folks are gone and I managed to turn over the room. At least 2 or 3 of you got to see photos of the room, as it was left this morning. I think I took out at least 5 bags of trash and at least that many bottles of stuff they drank. They certainly went on a wild shopping spree yesterday.... I've seen enough La Senza bags and tags for my lifetime. Anyone want a preserved 5 day old room temperature pizza? They ate half the first night and kept on eating it... I offered the fridge... oh to be young and able to eat anything. But I managed to get the room ready by 3PM for the next guest. I washed the duvet cover and got out the stains that I saw, but I think there is one stain that needs more intense treatment and I just don't have the time today. It will have to wait 2 days, since tomorrow is a busy day.
I have to take a lot more breaks because of my back and legs... but I'm managing until we hire someone to take someone from the service. The one day I do have help is tomorrow, which is good since I have a lot of turn overs. I'm just so tempted to go for a nap now.

Go ahead and take a nap by going to bed earlier than usual.

Another room, a donated gc, never showed. When contacted, they 'forgot'. Annoying, as the reason we even had the second room and didn't just close altogether was because of that damn free stay.

Try Basic H and soak it overnight.

I am at a Conference and it is 8 PM. I am going to bed.
the end of August we have our Frontier Days. It is a new carnival this year so it is going to be interesting to see how this one sets up. the old one started setting up on Sunday, carnival opened on Wednesday and started tear-down Saturday night after shut-down at 11 PM. From the time they started setting up until the following Sunday, no one got to drive or park in front of my house - we leave cones at City Hall for guest parking. The street in front of my house is the Midway.

Hmmm. That's the first reason I've heard to avoid crossing the border. Can't stand rye whiskey! Don't care for rye whisky either. But my heritage is Scottish so maybe that explains it

When all else fails and it's white... oxy with bleach right on top of it. And then right into the wash before a hole is burnt through. I had a friend who used pine sol... until everything was in shreds... it's a solvent....called a solvent for a reason

I don't see the stain, but I'm not really looking. He knws where it was and he still can't figure out how they got it RIGHT there and no where else. I replaced it with the new one which fits better anyway.

I had a towel that someone had used to wipe off red lipstick. For months I could tell you exactly which towel it was, in spite of it having been through bleach wash after bleach wash. And this weekend's biological stain (isn't that such a nice way of saying it?) Well, I managed to get it out after two washes. But I knew exactly where it was.
