Oh so true. When my family ran a restaurant in the 90's, we were particularly galled by women (it was always women) who would order "just water" to drink, then ask for lemon with it. They'd pour in several sugar packets to make lemonade, and expect it to be free. After all, they just had water. Yeah, right.
With the price of lemons, it would probably have been cheaper for the restaurant to give them a free Coke! It really adds up when 50 people/day do that.

In many aspects a restaurant has it worse. There have been a few brief moments where I have had a notion to open a cafe, then I instantly wake up and slap myself, what was I thinking!!!

There are so many parallels!
