Scam or for real? Anyone else get told their account was suspended? I can log in without using the link in the email but wondering if it's for real. No indication what's wrong but I get emails occasionally telling me I have to update my page. Then I log on and there's nothing to update. (The use of 'confirm' instead of 'conform' made me wonder.)
Hi,

We noticed that your business listing does not confirm to the Bing Places for Business data quality requirements and have suspended it from publishing. Sign-in to your Bing Places account to review and correct the errors.

I would NEVER go to a link in email.... I go directly to the site and log in. I would change your password on BING now.

The link goes to the right page. (Not that I used it.) The suspension was due to duplicate listings. One listing is still live, the other is suspended. No idea how I ended up with 2 listings. Maybe the same way I ended up with 3 G+ pages.

I log in separate. Just got a message like that from google places. So I went out to a new browser window and logged in ... saw nothing about needing to update. I am amazed at places that send you emails with clickable links and how the heck are you supposed to know what's legit? Got one from paypal and forwarded it to them to see if it was phishing. No, they said, it's from us. Well, says I, logging in NOT using your link I see nothing that needs updating.
