Lunar Eclipse tonight (Sunday)

totally enjoying the lunar eclipse ... reminds me of when I was looking for promotions to run and I did a Star Party and a Moon Party ... invited all the guests to sit out, dragged the chiminea onto the lawn and had that humming ... served 'moon pies' sort of s'mores

Look great here in Vermont. My guests all gathered on my back deck under the space heaters and watched.

Got up at 3am to check, cloudy though.

We had a great view. And when I got up to pee at midnight, I was able to catch the last quarter.

It was cloudy and raining here. I am not going to complain though we needed the rain badly. I watched it online.

Awesome view here. The full harvest moon rose out of the Atlantic and was huge! A bit later it gradually disappeared and then slowly moved out of the shadows. I wonder what the Native Americans, who lived here for thousands of years must have thought when they witnessed such a marvel!
