Momma and Poppa Smurf stopped by and surprised DH yesterday!!!! They had a brief tour of the place and time for a quick hello.
What a nice surprise. I'm sorry I missed you both!!!! I was stuck here in the 'big city' wishing I was home taking care of guests.

Yes, we had only one set of guests that checked in early, so went exploring the state park on the other side of your town and decided to drive along the ocean on your side and voila, there you were. What. a. beautiful. view and location! And no words to describe the copper house, but butt ugly!. Poor DH was likely disappointed that we weren't his last check-in, and we thank him for the mini tour and meeting the Koi family. You must love coming home to your piece of paradise after a day in the big city!

Yes, the famous copper house. Maybe I can make it a feature on our website. "Stay across the street from the ugliest house in the state!"
You went to Halibut Point State Park? Is that not an amazing view? I love that place.
I confess, I do spend much of my day wishing I were home. :)

Yes, we went to HP. Have been there several times and when we do routes south or day trips for folks, we always suggest they go there. Have had people text us to tell us how grateful they were that we suggested it. Also spent time driving around the hidden views in Annisquam, another fave spot. Love your town. Sorry we missed you. We then went of to Costco. So a productive working getaway.

We would love to have you! No ocean view, but you can hear, smell, and taste it, and 'tis only 500 yards away.
 
Always great to get to meet innmates. I have been so blessed to meet so many. We are here in WV ready to meet many more.
 
Ha! Ha! We were in Mort's town today, but we know she has more than her share of surprises to handle... someday though... one of our fave surprise stops was @ Joey Bloggs!
 
So now I have an ad on the side for Smurfs.... I wonder why? I guess its because I responded to this thread.
