I have no idea how long this has been the case but did you know that B&B.com started having customer support on Saturdays?

Pleasantly surprised this am when I really needed to speak to someone about an online booking that was a no-show.

I'm interested in what they said about the no-show. I have one that was supposed to stay last night and tonight. Res made thru P-line/B&Bdotcom. Of course no contact info for the guest. P-line doesn't feel that we can be trusted with that.
Anyway, guest did call late yesterday saying husband was ill so they would not be there last night, should be there today. Called again today, no, they will not be coming at all, but wondered if a relative (in town for wedding) could use the room. Sure, I said. Well, here it is almost 5 and relative is nowhere to be found. You bet your boots I'm going to be paid for this room!
So, do i click on the 'arrived' button in the b&bdotcom page, or not?

Short answer is YES, you mark as if they arrived.
The guy agreed with me that the new info at the top is confusing.
Regarding the transferred booking, I would call back the original guest now that you have her number and ask for the cell number of the person coming to take the room. Then ask her to call them and have them call you to arrange check in. I bet the new guest did not get all the info and thinks you have a 24hr front desk and will try to check in after the wedding.

Try 800 259 2091 option 3. You didn't get that from me :)

Don't know why I didn't think to ask the person in the know first!
