All I know is I made 18 fudge chocolate cupcakes a few hours ago and left them to cool. Had to do some paperwork but the cupcakes were safe and out of the way, right? Just went to the kitchen to make frosting and there are only 13 left because I didn't leave a note saying not to eat them.
Happy International Chocolate Day!

A note would not work in this house. DH figures that anything chocolate is his!

Wonderful!!!! Send one my way! Where's the photos so we can enjoy them?!?!?!!!

I stopped at Russel Stover on the way home from Conference this morning. Working on a 3 lb box of Bloopers (got one for the staff at City Hall also and 2 caramel apples for Himself as he has been whining about not having the good ones he remember from days of yore).

Ordered a slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake at a restaurant last night. Got it to go so I never saw it until this morning. About 5" tall! Haven't finished it yet.

oooh, are Russell Stover bloopers 'seconds' ..? That sounds great. I love oops paint at the hardware store (wrong color) and have been happy with every kind of seconds except one. A local meat processor sold 'oops' hot dogs. The meat overfilled the casing ... Just use your imagination! I couldn't even look at them. My mother scolded and said 'Just cut them up quick and cook them' ... blah.

Yes, they are the did not pass inspection and you have NO IDEA what is in there other than the ones I bought were Assorted. This one seems to have a preponderance of toffee (so I am sucking the chocolate off and tossing). The last box I got (August - Municipal League Conference) had a lot of coconut. I love the Bloopers and get one every time I go to Wheeling (they are at the Ca bel la's Complex).

Sounds like a dangerous place!
The cupcakes are all gone .. So no pics this time sorry

.
They even have "sugar-free" bloopers but they still have the fat in the chocolate so still a "I will not eat it" for Himself. His loss.

The Newfoundland Chocolate Factory has 'Swag Bags' that they sell off with their seconds. Always a good variety in each bag. I like to get them the best because I can never make up my mind when I get in there. This way, I get surprised, pleasantly and yummyly (?).
