I feel lousy. Achy, scratchy throat, etc. Can I be sickly in peace? No. Phone(s) ringing, doorbell ringing, bills that need calling about, hammering outside all morning. I should just have gotten up this morning, got dressed and gone to work.

Awww, sorry you are not feeling up to par. On the good side...at least it isn't high season. You know the program: drink plenty of liquids and rest. sigh
I must say it has been a big relief to be closed, with no guests in sight, as I continue to recover from that nasty virus that gave me pneumonia. I send the answering machine to voice mail, DH to do the grocery shopping and, amazingly, I can actually hang around the house looking like I feel.

Still taking reservations, answering hang up calls, arguing with pharmacy. But, in my pajamas, so not too bad.
