Hi Everyone. It's been a while since I've checked in. Just getting over the craziness of summer and fall. I love November! 2016 will be the start of my 20th year in business. (I have no idea how that happened and where the time has gone!) I would like to do something special for my guests to thank them for their business and to advertise our 20 years. It can't be too expensive, but I would like it to be classy and unique. Any ideas? Thanks.

Congrats! That's a big milestone.
I'd go for something edible. I find that guests like that more than a tchotchke they have to find a home forr.
Make up cute labels to go with them.

I have my 20th in July. Been thinking about the same thing. I might just do a roast of coffee of their choice from in-house the day they arrive. They get to choose, it is easy for me to do and not that expensive for me (will put it in cello bags, not jars) as the most expensive coffee I will buy is $7 per pound - and I try to get most of my coffees when they are on sale. Boring I know - but it IS different.

we had a firm do cupcakes with little 20's in rice paper on them - went like hot cakes.

Congrats Country Girl!
I realize this is not a marriage, but at times I bet you feel like it is, the ups down and others, the emotions, the tears, the joys, the child birth pains, and weariness, what am I going to cook for "him" ie them.
So for that purpose, my vote is go for the symbol of 20 years, drum roll please... CHINA.
A commemorative cup
A commemorative plate
Whatever you fancy...
find a local brewery or vineyard for a special commemorative bottle of wine or make up your own labels
Reword it to fit below:

I hope it is the best year ever!

Good one! Guests do like coffee mugs!
With shipping, the plain (with your info on it) 12 oz mug in any color, runs around $3/each.

Welcome home! We have done espresso cups for a few special events, but I think the larger cup would be great if you don't do espresso. I can see having them on the table at breakfast, on the shelf for purchase (in case they want two- helps pay for them) and wrapped (who am I kidding) as their memento.

I notice that a b&b booking place also is celebrating 20 years. Might take a cue from them and hold a contest? I personally love coffee mugs. I assume it would be just for the month of (or week of?) the anniversary.
Or something every 20th of the month in honor of your 20th year?
Congratulations

I like the 20th of the month idea!

.
Me too. I will need to set up the 20th of each month as a 2-night minimum and I might set the rate ON the 20th as $20+ tax. There are only 4 months that would have one of the 2-night min fall on a weekend. That leaves 8 possible week night bookings (times 3 rooms) I probably would not have had - IF it worked.
