It is in gratitude for the friendship and the thankfulness of being part of this wonderful group that I say:

Happy Thanksgiving to the Swirts and the people they have brought together all over the World. Today we hoist a glass in thankfulness and share a table full of gratefulness with a great group of people[/h2]

Happy Thanksgiving!
This year, I am thankful for a wonderful summer season, people on this forum who give great insight and very thankful that I didn't sign up to do the inn stroll this year. Pressure off for decorations being up overnight!

JB gets to meet an innmate today, a first time meeting this innmate, and is super excited! I am not sure if anyone else has had the privilege yet either.

And in January I will meet an innmate under the stars in a far away land...another country. Another innmate I have yet to meet face to face. I won't give any clues to that one until 2016. But it will be a great way to start the new year!

I had the pleasure of meeting an innmate who stayed with us recently. It's so great to put the name to the face. There's not many innmates in my region so there's not much of an opportunity to meet.

She is so lovely, you all have no idea! I am speaking of our innmate from Michigan, Iris of the Wayfarer.
I feel so privileged knowing I am the first innmate she has met, and honored. We will all have a nice breakfast together tomorrow.

I cannot believe how wonderful Iris is in person, such a joy, so much fun...this forum really limits us. I encourage you to meet an innmate, don't just wait for it to happen, make it happen.
This forum is a catch-all for so many things. Many times we use it as a place to let off steam as noone else gets it and you all do get it. So when someone new (to the business or even aspiring) arrives they see more griping than encouraging. They see where the rubber meets the road in innkeeping.
But, there is hope! There is always hope... get to know a few off the forum, whether on facebook (in a closed group where you can let your hair down) or email or visit in person. You will be encouraged, it is a wonderful thing. After a long hot season, with demanding guests, stress, and hard work it is the icing on the cake to meet an innmate. Try it!

Hear - Hear! And I am making promise that IF I outlive Himself, look out because I WILL be coming.
