This came yesterday. Its a conveyor toaster. Put in as many slices as you need. Got it from web staurant. Gave it a test run this morning. Takes about a minute and a half from insert bread slice to end of cycle for first slice to emerge. Toasts both sides or one side. Dimensions 17x17x17. Takes very little more space than my old Waring 4 slice. Needs 2 inches clearance on back and sides. 120v. Takes a few minutes to warm up, but I already pre-heat the griddle so I'll just do both at the same time.

I've always appreciated those conveyor toasters at places that had them. They also work with bagels, and other thick breads, frozen pancakes and waffles, etc. (not that I'm advocating frozen pancakes).
I discovered webstaurant recently and have found lots of things there I couldn't find from other suppliers, like individually wrapped coffee stir sticks, and a much better price on to-go coffee cups with "sippy lids".
I ordered a case of their decaf K-cups last week. Including shipping it came to 44 cents per k-cup but the coffee is horrible. That is, it's like drinking hot water. Totally tasteless, but might be OK for people who use cream and sugar since they don't really taste the coffee anyway ;-)

We had breakfast at a chain place some years ago and admired the toaster. i wrote down the model number and these 4 or so years later, finally got it. Was never happy with the Waring. Toast is fine, but always have to have it on max heat and DH always has to push it down again for dark enough toast. i just let be as it comes out even if toast is v e r y pale.
Delivery to your door is good. Free shipping is good. I think we got the Waring we replaced from a nearby city restaurant supply place. I don't travel there anymore unless DH is in the hospital. Fingers crossed that won't be happening this year!
I usually read reviews on am azon and anywhere else I can find them when I'm considering a purchase.

"Wow..you have to make a lot of toast for that price"
Only on some mornings. But the toast was the bottleneck and very frustrating when you're cooking and serving. That's how much it bothered me. I like having breakfast go like clockwork. Americans hate to wait. I want the experience to be restaurant-like, and I want to say "and your toast and coffee will be right up", and actually be able to deliver in the next two minutes. Just ask DH - I am the breakfast kitchen Nazi - who becomes all smiles once I'm out the kitchen door.
Not so expensive on web staurant.
Today is state tax day. I may wish I hadn't once I write that check. but right now, I have mental relief thinking of the coming season.

National Hospitality has some restaurant items that are difficult to find elsewhere. I got a folding tray stand for last summer. Indispensable when delivering full dinners on the large trays to the outside apartment. I deliver everything on trays. A holdover from working in fine dining places in younger years. Even if just delivering one small pitcher of half and half. Always on a tray. I have the very large tray for the dinners and two smaller ones for breakfast service. they are the cocktail bar type, dark brown with the cork liners.
I get individually wrapped plastic drinking cups there too. For the bathrooms. DH insisted. Guests may not realize the glass drinking glasses are run through the dishwasher. DH's concern was possible injury due to broken glass. He prevailed on that one.
I also got my bedside lamps with the convenience outlets from them. A traditional design that works with our decor. Oh, and pillow slips by the dozen. Shower curtains will probably be from them next, but they have to be purchased by the dozen too, so that will wait a bit.

Toast is absolutely the bottleneck. Every stinking morning. Thanks for the lead!
I'm fuming as I'm waiting for toast and the cheese is all melted and sad looking on the eggs.

We got the brand and model number for a conveyor toaster from a dinner we just ate at last week. Still following up on that.

FYI the Waring was the four slice, not their conveyor.

I just use the oven broiler and toast as much toast as I need in a couple of minutes. Of course, there have been a few times that DH was supposed to be watching the toast and...ahem...his ADD kicked in. Burnt toast anyone?

Just me most mornings so cant keep an eye on the broiler and do everything else. That would be a LOT of burnt toast.

Our oven has a 'toast' function. It turns itself off after 2 minutes.

Nice feature. I use the oven for my omlettes so there would be a conflict.

How do you make omlettes in the over?
We have a double oven range - not sure how we lived with only one oven up until last year.

How's it working? The site really wants me to buy a different one!
We're seriously looking at this now. At $500 it was a wish list item. At $379 it's closer to reality.

Yes I got that push to buy the different one too. Stuck with the one we scoped out all those years ago.
To be honest, no guests so haven't used it in the big production way, just us, but works great and really like it. When it dumps the toast in the receiving tray it does keep warm enough to delay buttering for a bit. I think it will be a godsend come the busy time.
:)

Non stick skillet on stove top flame. Oil pan, add the omelet mixture, as it starts to set use spatula to move some set egg to more middle of pan, and tilt pan - allowing liquid egg to contact pan surface. When egg mostly done but still moist and a bit liquid on top, put under oven broiler till set. Pull out, add filling and cheese/sour cream if using, put back in for a few seconds, pull out , flip over and slide on to waiting plate. Fillings are prepared in advance and kept warm. I can do four at a time.
I use the 10 1/2 inch skillets for 2 egg and 8 inch for one egg omelets.

We bought a plug in omlette maker as we use one oven to keep the plates warm so don't have the grill space during service - really quick and you don't have to watch it ie just pour the stuff in and leave and only cost £15 (approx $30) so bargain!
