I just got my postcard order in from VP. I had some notecards printed that I think came out nicely. I use them for personal thank you cards. (That's the size they are - standard thank you.)
I was thinking of ordering more, by theme (lighthouses, landscapes, things like that) and then packing them up in sets of 5 to sell. Do you think anyone buys notecards? (I know the postcards fly out the door, not sure the notecards would.)
Generally speaking, we don't sell a lot of anything here. The maple syrup sells, the mugs sit or get stolen. The postcards are free as the back of them has the website info.
So, really, it's more of a shameless marketing ploy for my photography.

I have received some lovely note card than yous from guests. So, yes, some people do still write letters and notes.

We get cards and letters from guests and I send friends cards. Might have to check them out since its getting harder each year to find nice cards.

If you go with vista get the matte cards, not the glossy. The glossy you can't write on.

I do so little writing that I have started putting my logo on card stock - 2-up - and cutting them apart to use as note cards. I found a stack of envelopes with our return address from a stock I ordered from a local printer years ago - I did have note cards in the rooms back then.

gotprint gives you lots of options on the paper and finish and one of them is glossy on the front, where you want your photo to look its best, and unfinished white cardboard on the back so you can write on it like a regular postcard.

Not so much ... but I do get postcards and Christmas cards from friends. I also send them.

So if I did winter scenes and wrote 'Merry Christmas' inside you might buy them?

I use things like that for thank you cards - just handy to have an "all purpose" card for caught short emergencies.
