Read it again. And one more time.

The guest books are getting an overhaul. Finally. After saying I was going to do it 3-4 years ago.
I'm cutting and pasting the old text into a new file, editing and cropping to fit the new size of the books. Going small instead of big. Max 10 pages. Large font, lots of white space. Chart style, bold text, etc. Lots of 'Top 10' style lists.
Reading over the text that has been in the books for eons I find that I have misspelled the name of a famous explorer. And used another word incorrectly. I guess the lone high point to this is that the books are rarely read. ;-)
Gorgeous snowy day outside, perfect for working on this semi-tedious chore.

What a good girl you are. I am being totally selfish and just working on our live in quarters. My mudroom will soon look like a Pinterest post and I will admire it when I am running off my feet in the coming months. Will look at B&B stuff in a month or two.

That is something that needs to happen! Absolutely. I am still delighted with the work we have done to turn this into 'our' home. It really helps in the summer to have a calming place to go.

I've been trying to re-do the PO's guestbooks since before I closed on the place 3 years ago. They created an amazing but staggering 280-page book with everything to do in the area. Unfortunately, it's impossible to keep up with what's been closed, opened, changed, etc. so I've been thinning it down. I'm ⅔'ds through, but it may be another couple of months before I get it finished and reprinted.

I threw that book in the closet and never looked back. You actually reminded me it existed.
Still finding errors in my books. These are the ones I did, so it's more embarrassing.
Just waiting now for my order to come in - all new books to put the info in. A step up from the binder format. But I have all the info ready to print so that's a big deal done.
