Stayed home from work today to avoid blizzard issues. Snowing sideways right now. The ocean is coming into the street. We are protected from the storm surge.
The state asked us to stay off the roads so I comply.
How is everyone else here in New England?

"Bored" said my aunt. Beside that we are doing fine. The temperature felt like it just dropped so I just came back from starting the heater in the apartment basement and turning up the heat in the apartment.

Slicking up out there now. It's that nasty, pelting snow that slaps you around.

Still snowing here. Supposed to snow on Saturday so guests are calling to add Friday to their stay. Sweet!

Back to the office today. I took a later train so we (he) had more time to clean off the driveway and car. No ice on the streets of Boston. The waves are awesome!
Expecting more tomorrow!

We left Charleston by 2 PM. At 1:15 someone came past my booth saying there was hail outside so do not be in a hurry to leave. It was so nice when we came out I did not even put my jacket on.
Saw a video on FB when I got home from Council that the WV Turnpike was closed due to accidents and it was SNOW with semis in the median. Looked like we cleared that area just in time. We had a patch of rain that was trying to snow when we were about 40 miles from home. Temps are supposed to go into the sub-zero tank in the next day or two. We will see. And P Swan, please feel free to take the snow we are supposed to get.
Update: We only got 4 inches last night. No biggie. Schools closed though due to, as I explained before - where they have to go to pick up kids.
