I love Lindt truffles, and can get them at the local Walmart. Perfect.
I guess just go with the milk chocolate. I prefer dark chocolate, but some don't like that, and everybody likes milk chocolate. I'd rather not get into the business of asking them which chocolate they want, which cider, etc.
Ideally, I would buy them now, just to have them on hand. Then I get to eat them as they approach the expiration date!.
See if you can get mix n match truffles - some milk, some dark. When I do chocolates in the rooms I get one of each kind.
For the rose petals, get a lot of them. Depending on your market you may find they are not removed from the bed, nor is the cover you strew them on. Just a head's up.
I would also store them in a container with a touch of rose oil to give them a lovely scent.
The total package is a great idea, but if you just want to do the rose petals and chocolates, $25.
I wish we could offer sparkling wine. The sparkling cider never gets opened. I've had the same bottle for years. It goes bad and it gets replaced.
