TV's so far

Thus far with the TV's, keeping in mind this weekend is generally entirely repeats -
There's some sort of streaming gadget hooked up in one room and the furniture's been rearranged for better viewing. (Will probably leave it like that.)
One comment about liking it better without TV (he and I had a good chuckle) .
No other comments so far but will be asking tomorrow how things went.

This weekend's shakedown cruise - everything worked! Yay! Everyone said they checked the weather and then shut the TV off. Except the college kids. They hooked up all their gadgets and rearranged the furniture.
So far so good.
It'll be tough to prove the negative, tho, as I won't know if the TV's were a draw. We only knew when we didn't have them. Only a few people will be bummed because they've already told me via email. Que sera, sera.

We've added one to each cottage and for us I think they've been popular. We're not a romantic destination however! I have had a few people disappointed that we did not get the sporting event that they wanted to see. We have a very basic Directv lineup and that's how I describe it but if you don't get the Cardinals game - my name was mud that day...

We are lucky the nice pub on the corner does ALL the sports channels and even have tv's set up in such a way you can watch them outside if its nice weather so ive always got a back up.

Ours is a basic lineup, too. No movie channels here, either. I don't know how to set up to charge for movies and we can't afford stuff like $40 boxing matches!
I'm sure there will be games that are blacked out. I don't know what will happen then!
There is a bar next door and many more not far away if it's a big issue.
We're not a romantic destination either.
