Your Elevator Speech

Do you have an elevator speech?
FAM
(FAM is a fancy term for FAMiliarization Tour...it gives us one-on-one attention with industry leaders in travel, travel writing, tour booking, meeting planning, etc. this is about 40-50 people)
If you had 2-3 minutes what would you share about your business? An called Elevator Speech. Are you ready?
PLEASE DON'T POST WHAT YOU THINK SPECIFICALLY ABOUT MY BUSINESS HERE - What about YOUR business?

I think other than saying I have a Tesla charger (BTW - has 2 calls yesterday asking about charging - not staying just charging. told them $15)
Back to topic - I would say we re here to provide wonderful experiences of our city and the area. To create special moments - with the elopements and the stories we share. If I were you I would tell about one of the stories you told here of people who came back because of some special moment in their lives. Wasn't there a spouse who came back to remember a time with his wife? ot was that another innmate? You have had your special moment ones.
We are not "just a bed & breakfast" for many people. Through telling us their stories, many guests find peace and joy. I will always remember the lady who could not celebrate Christmas as she once did because her daughter died in a wreck coming home for Christmas. After reading the note I left for her before leaving for work (about rather than grieving, she celebrate that her daughter was in her life), she DID get up and take a CD of our Community Band Christmas Concert as I offered to her to have when she was ready to listen. (It was one of the things she no longer enjoyed.)
We give memories and experiences. Your picnics for their hike or day trip......

Tell them a story, give them a brochure, muffins (etc.), a coupon for a free charge at Tessie, and a discount ticket for a two night stay. "Come and enjoy the enjoy the experience our guest have enjoyed for years. They won't forget you!

I need a new rack card, stat! (I sound like someone else here, haha)
I actually sat down to create a new rack card about 5 times this winter and tossed in the towel. I was in a non creative mode.

I would talk about my porch and the ties to the hills in the surrounding area. The serenity that offers up is priceless...

Dang, I had a whole thing written up and couldn't post it!
Take your brochure, punch a hole in it, tie a small bag to it and put in a mini muffin or a cookie. I have pens, too, do they'd get that as well.
I'd talk about how close we are to downtown and how we work with local captains to get our guests out on the water.
I did just do this for a video for the town.

MY elevator speech asks if they drink coffee and then I launch into the you pick the country and I roast it because that is my unique thing (or the 100 different teas if they drink tea).
One of the roasters died Saturday - so I immediately ordered Roaster #4.
