Had to pull a fruit cup out of my.....imagination

Walk in last night. They booked on Exped and walked in at about the same time. (thanks for spending that commission for us since you were in our driveway while you made the reservation....)
Anyway, since we weren't expecting anyone and our most recent guests left on Monday, we didn't have much in the way of fresh fruit in the house. What we had was three bananas and two not QUITE fresh apples.
So I pulled a can of pineapple from the shelf cuz that's what it is there for. I put the drained, canned pineapple in martini glasses and started searching for a garnish.
I surrounded the glasses with the three bananas and cut one of the apples into slices. I dipped the apple slices into the reserved pineapple juice and arranged them on the tops of the martini glasses.
Honestly, they looked really good. I was kind of pleased with myself.

You are now a "SEASONED" innkeeper. That is an innkeeper who can make something with "nothing in the house" that looks as if it were planned.

And I would bet the guests were pleased with it. (why waste a dup when I can make a second comment)

Oh that would peeve me. Just ring the bell. What is wrong with people?
