It ends, but you have to say, "No! Booking, Get!"

They have a new program they are rolling out country by country. Ask your rep. Are you marking them bad? We had to elevate one where the card was non-existent to the point of where we had to tell the guest that we felt uncomfortable taking a reservation. It was that, or call the cops.
When it does work, we call it in a Code 10 to tell them of suspicious activity on the card. Sometimes it gets the card cancelled. C'est la vie.

Charge Book clients 100% at time of booking. Don't make exceptions. Only way to save yourself and your sanity.
Just remember: Booking.com = Ghost Guests.

Yes, I marked it bad on booking. They supposedly get in touch with the guest. Nothing back from guest, yet. I may just call the guest.

Guest never received anything from booking either about having completed the rez or that the card was bad. I got her email and the cvv after I called and everything worked fine.

It's that d@*! email system! Their email went to spam. Either that or the guest uses their junk email addie that they never check. Either way it makes for a communication nightmare!
Glad you took matters in your own hands and called.

I explained booking does not give me her real email and that she may not recognize the email from them.
