We bought our New Orleans Inn in August and have been blessed with wonderful guests from the beginning. April booked at 80% with the remaining 20% being closed off on purpose. The first week was French Quarter Fest followed by an 8-day whole house (nine rooms) rental and then two weekends of Jazz Fest of which we just checked out Group #1. The last two groups have been amazing. The whole house booking was a group from Canada for a surprise 50th birthday party. They ALL insisted that we stay out of their rooms for the entire visit. Just asked where the clean linens were kept. NOT KIDDING. We did not enter their rooms for the entire stay. They then left about $200 in booze and tips totaling about $100. And then 3 five start Tripadvisor reviews to boot. Next came our Jazz Fest week 1 crew who have been staying here for 8 years. Same thing. Most of them asked us to NOT bother with their rooms. I smoked a pork shoulder yesterday as a "thank you" and laid it out for when they came in from the festival.
If only every month could be like this!

Sounds like you are having wonderful guests and likely because you have a wonderful house!
Congratulations.

We also have been blessed in April. Since we are a beach B and B, we are lucky to have weekend guests, some that leave late or extend early. THis week we have a visiting chef from a local restaurant. She doesn't want breakfast, cleans her room herself, and is barely visable. WIn! She also comes back in after we are in bed. ❤️ When you getguests like this!

Awesome! I love guests like that. Low maintenance, but thankful for everything.
We've had a great April as well. See my post Our First Folk Festival.
