TA showing us as "not available"

For years now TA has been showing our B&B as "unavailable" when 1) we are available and 2) we do not participate on OTA travel sites (any of them). It is so unbelievably frustrating, if someone searches by date, we come up on the very last page, after B&B's that are not existence (there are over 100 B&B's in our city so getting pushed that far back definitely has an impact). In the past we have called TA up and ask them to fix this error, but this is now occurring on a monthly basis.
Has anyone ever experience this, and has anything worked to get TA to permanently fix this problem? We are not a subscriber, but in the past when we were we still had this problem.
 
Right, you are NOT available via their partners... so that's why they are showing it. TA isn't about you, it's about them making money off of you. They aren't your friend, they aren't your partner, they are leeches.
 
No disagreement on who TA is there for. We are however the only lodging place that goes through this in our area. All the other B&B's that don't participate with other OTA's just have "contact owners for availability".
 
I have a feeling that TA is the worst with those B+Bs who have had a paid listing and then discontinue it. On the other hand, those who have never had a paid listing get better treatment as encouragement to sign up. I am sorry you are experiencing this hardship....like you our living depends a great deal on our standing in the TA listings. Unfortunately, I doubt that they will listen to anything you might have to say unless you sign up an pay the big bucks for a paid listing. And even then....expect them to abuse you.

This is a great way to beat that problem. I never worked with the OTAs and was sick of my listing saying "not available" so I joined TripConnect and I get lots of business from it. You only pay when someone clicks over to your booking site.
