Thanks Neighbor!

We just got a week stay from a neighbor. She talked to another neighbor and asked where they put up their family when they come into town and they send her to us!!!! Perfect!

Woohoo! Sent her to the BEST place.

We get that here as well from the neighbors. We then invite the neighbors to breakfast one day during the stay. That little item quickly circulates around the "hood".

Great idea. We've had a few neighbors use us for friends.

Good for you. Another type of word of mouth advertising!
Just had some friends of neighbors here this last weekend.
We have had conversations about local marketing on the forum before. This is why some devote a small % of our marketing dollars to local.
Since my place is off the beaten path most locals do not know (or remember) that we are here and a nice alternative to those box buildings.

Our neighborhood where we get these are only one bedrooms apartments so it not like we are going to have a group show up and we do buffet so we tell them to feel free to join them for breakfast. Some take up the offer others don't. One lady is here every morning that she has guests here.

Thanks, but I was correct. I just have staying power. I am the Roly-Poly toy - punch me in the nose and I just bounce back for more. I survive the lean years because I have to live somewhere.....

Yes, it is. I really would not want to lice anywhere else. Tuesday is City election - hoping Levy Renewal passes and that the "constipation" faction do not get elected. They want to undo what took us 15 years to accomplish.
