It's time to order shampoos and conditioners again. Wasn't totally thrilled with my last ones. The packaging was pretty, but the shampoo wasn't the greatest. So wondering where all you get yours and which you have found to be the best?? Also what price point do you like to stay at?

Most recent I use Aromae Botanicals, soap, shampoo and conditioner. I like the looks and smell and they seem well received by our guests. I get them either from a local supply company or one of the national suppliers.

Thanks! Do you have websites for any of the suppliers?

We use Gilcrest & Soames. Just do a google search and contact them about wholesale prices. We get their bulk products and guests love the quality.

We have dispensers in the baths. (Thanks to this forum!) We buy the shampoo, etc. at Dollar Tree so they are always different. One bottle does two containers which lasts about a month to three months each depending on guests in room and usages. (Shampoo and shower gel gets refilled more than the others.) We have had them in a year and a half and the guests rave about them to this day.

I use dispensers & pump bottles. I buy it by the gallon at the hairdresser supply (Sal ly) Soap dispenser chambers started leaking so now I buy a local got milk soak - they cut it into 1 oz bars.

Try a thick liquid soap. We had a problem with a shower gel and went for a thicker one and haven't had a problem since.

.
I was then having a problem getting liquid soap by the gallon - price went bananas (although compared to the cost of the goat milk soaps now it was cheaper). However, you gotta help the little guy..... They make it unscented for me.

I've never gotten the hang of pasting in a link so hope I'm typing these correctly

I've ordered from both of these folks and purchase from a local supply house Appalachian Innkeepers, think all had the soap and shampoo, but only found the matching conditioner at National Hospitality.

We use H2K which ships internationally but is based in my town - sell their products as a reception sale which does well.

Gilchrist and Soames have very nice products. You can order samples.
Greenwich Bay will do your logo on the wrapping so you can brand the products that guests take home. They will also send samples.
We've used both.
We do have the wall mounted dispensers so we order the shampoo in bulk. The soaps are nicely packaged. We also order the shower caps (we have an older clientele know what those are for - not just for Tupperware tops! ) We have ordered the lip balm as well. That went over very well in the winter.

I use William Roam dot com.
Higher end but made in US. Some of G&S now made in China. I can get you in touch with a sales person if you're interested.

Thanks for all the input. We have actually been using Gilcrest and Soames ..... but they have many different lines. We were using one of their cheaper lines. Maybe I just need to go up to something nicer?? I really don't want to go to dispensers... I like the individual sizes.

We use Bath and Body Works 'Stress Relief' shampoo and conditioner. The guests love it so much we carry some of the other items in the gift shop and a few people have bought it. We get it from Sysco.

We use individual soaps and hair/body products from G+S. I have been happy with the Spa collection...mid-range. Guests seem to like it and it does not break the bank!

Hi , we use Sysco as our distributor, and we use the full line of Acca Kappa. It is imported from Italy. Love the fact that the white Moss scent is unisex. The packageing is really nice also. Sysco was great about sending samples!

I'm a licensed hairstylist so I buy gallons of Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo and The Detangler and put them into mini bottles that we bought from U-Line. But I believe now you can buy hotel sized Paul Mitchell Tea Tree and Wild Ginger toiletries from Americanhotel.com

We buy from Amer Hotel but I will say they have some of the steepest prices around.
An example is one of their 'pool side' chairs in the latest catalog. They are going for over $200 each. They were $24 at Target when I bought them.
