Most gracious guests

I was planning on serving waffles with fresh sliced strawberries and whipped cream along with sausage this morning. Waffle iron stopped in the middle of the second batch. First batch is a trail for the cook! It seems the heating element gave up the ghost and I went to Plan B which didn't exist before the broken iron.
Everyone was very gracious about the change-up and I quickly made scrambled eggs, and wheat toast with my homemade strawberry jam along with the sausage. I served the fresh strawberries on the side (they had a little sugar on them to make the syrup) in a dessert dish with the whipped cream. We all laughed and plan B was accepted.
"Don't you love it when a plan comes together?"

Always have to be fast on the feet. You achieved "seasoned" status quickly - this does not work so what the heck, this will. Bravo!
