Can't Find The Binder...

I keep a book of printed recipes from the net in a binder in the kitchen. Some with my modifications. Not really my recipes, since most of mine are in my head. But I just noticed that my entire binder... missing! And now I'm wondering if someone walked off with my binder... because I won't give out my recipes.
I recently subscribed to ChefTap so that I could keep web recipes around and modify them. I switch all my recipes from cups to weight in grams because it's much more precise and easier to work with weight. So being able to modify the recipe is helpful. Also, the changes that I normally make to recipes can easily be done. Too bad I lost a bunch of web printed recipes... UGH.

Can't believe someone would steal your recipe binder!!! I hope it turns up.

Maybe the guest will show up with them and demand a free stay. No soup for you!

Yikers! I hope it just got moved. In my kitchen it would probably be buried under something.

There's no room to bury anything in my kitchen. There is hardly enough room for two people to work in my kitchen. We use the bar as extra space.

Dh managed to pack up and entire double duvet with the sheets from a room today - believe me anything is possible.

I pick things up and take them with me to another room all the time. Lay them down, forget them in 10 seconds. Here's hoping it shows up in the strangest of places. Like losing a hand!

We had a book made of our Sugar Plum Tea with all the pictures in it. It was a soft cover book, but had lovely pages and pictures.
We gave 3 women a tour one day. They were older and I didn't feel the need to 'follow them around'. They didn't go into guest rooms, just common areas.
After they left we noticed the book missing. Never have found it.

I had this with a book I had about the Local theatre - gave it to guests to read then it disapeared always wondered if they thought it was a gift.

I keep a similar binder but with no backup. I'd be crushed if it went missing. Really hope it turns up.

Any luck locating it today?

Nope. Only reason I even went to look for it was that I needed the basic recipe I use for crepes. Not expecting it to turn up.

This is not your week…. Just think with the recipes modified with the weight etc. it won't do them any good!!!! Just think how maidenly that can be!
