Feeling old and boring...

… So I'm glad our guests don't fall asleep in the dining room in the morning. I mean we are so unentertaining. Just eat that food! Like this: Gomez and Morticia do the Breakfast Dance. Specific and Generic put on a comedy show. Chris and Shelley have top rate musicians playing during breakfast. The Cats have the Iceberg Parade. Joey does juggling acts. Gillum have coffee and tea tours. And don't forget Breakfast Diva! At least I serve breakfast to our guest unlike Arks...
( I hope you could read the teasing and joking between the lines! ) I get mischievous when I'm guestless…..

Duff, I just switch on the breakfast music and let 'em talk amongst themselves. Look at it this way: if we aren't engaged in long conversations, the food won't be burning on the stove!

Same here, though we do go in to check on the buffet and get talking.

Our breakfasts usually go like this: Daddy Innkeeper cooks the breakfast, hired server/housekeeper runs the food, Baby Innkeeper runs to greet the guests in her little sleeper and Mama is still in her jammies, apologizing profusely (it happens every day). People love it. On days that Mama serves, she fulfills her hosting duties by being her sassy witty self and hope guests "get" the humour. Most do.
Other than that, the tables are set up as a 4-top, 8-top and 10-top. We let them choose the seat and pray they make friends...
