Ah, it happened. Moving too quickly and three mugs landed on the floor. I thought they were okay but two handles have broken off clean. Has anyone repaired ceramic mugs with a super glue type product and have they held up? So sad, they are part of a collection. To replace I would have to search on ebay and other places and pay about $25 each.
Thanks

I have had good luck with Duco Cement. It can be found at Walmart. It works better on china/ pottery than super glue IMO.

Hmmm, I would not take a chance on reattaching handles on mugs that might hold hot liquid. Sorry, I would toss them unless you repair them and use them as decorative objects only.

I am going to try to repair ... I do use them. Personally I tend to wrap my hands around a mug but I do use the handle as well. My own fault ...

Surely you can run a few tests before discarding. Pour boiling water in them, let them sit a minute to heat up, then lift them up and down by the handle, repeatedly, over the sink. If they do OK, it's worth keeping them. If the handles come off, you know they can't be used but can only be looked at.
