VP charges sales tax?

Since when does VP collect sales tax? What do they base it on? It certainly didn't add up for here.

Well, what do you know! And, they charge the tax on the pre discount amount, which stinks and I don't think it's correct.

I would dispute that tax amount ... no way.

I wonder if they pay it in to the state they collected it for, or keep it. They probably pay it. A company that big can't afford the negative publicity of cheating like that.
