Anyone have a favorite wafflemaker? I need a new one. I'm seeing prices from $50 to $600. I like the four square waffles in one type for serving at a buffet.
Also, have you used the ones that have a 'pancake' griddle that makes pancakes or eggs? I can already do that without a special plate, so, have you found it useful?
Other things to look for?
Thanks!!

When I first opened I did a ton of research on waffle makers and went with the Cuisinart WAF-150, which has the four-square-one-plate design you are looking for. I absolutely love mine. It makes perfectly golden brown waffles and has no problem with other foods like hash waffles or things with cheese. Easy to clean and stores upright.

For round waffles, we use Waring Pro models. My only complaint is oftentimes the staff twists them the wrong way and snaps the back off. They still work fine, but don't look good. Otherwise we've worn the tar out of them.

I have both waffle machines. Cuisinart square makes 4 squares . Good size also. Love them both .Guest love the waring turn over one as you can do two Large waffles at the same time.

Ours is from All Clad. Makes 4 waffles in about 5 mins, and it's temperature controlled. I love it.
