Just wanted to remind us to keep them in our thoughts and prayers as our fellow inn-mates are traveling the world. (I think there are at least seven of them on the loose right now.) They are soaring on cloud nine, sorry I can't be specific on who, what, where, and how. Though the ones that might need us the most are the lodging places as they don't realize what they are getting themselves into…. you know the worst patients are nurses…. Or maybe I should just say the truth, "I'm so jealous!"

I'm 200 miles from home. Does that count???.
Certainly! Make it at least eight…

I just got home last night from 10 days in Colorado and Wyoming. 'Tis the season to ramble. Grand Teton Nat. Park and Yellowstone are wonderful this time of year. Roads clear and dry, but lots of snow on the mountains and very light crowds. Downside is lots of restaurants, lodging, shops, attractions are closed for the season. But I don't go for shopping or attractions, so I did fine with lodging, restaurants, and lots of sightseeing.
Saw a grizzly bear about 100 yards from me, lots of bison, elk, pronghorn sheep, and one giant moose. All I missed were the bighorn sheep and the Yeti.

Ah! Glad you posted so I didn't have to call out the FBI after all….but you don't count since you're back home.

Sigh, so jealous…. got pictures?

Heading to New Orleans for a family visit next week. Hoping our new Global Emtry cards help to get us through the TSA line with no hassles.
Don't we have an inmate near? I and not sure what our schedule will be and we have our lodging all arranged, but if we are in the area and have the time would love to have a face-to-face.

We are off for 5 months. Heading down . Not sure where exactly yet. All boxes have been delivered . Opened some but going to leave a bout 100 unopened and do when we get back.Still lots of paper work to do for loss of income and flood but hope we will have all done by Nov 7th.Going down by Uta.
Then slowly head towards AZ . Then who knows where. Maybe Sendona,AZ area heard it is lovely . then head over to CA.and go along coast up to Canada.
Just need some rest and change of pace.

We were in the north of Italy, but we are now closer to the centre but in the west, the earthquake was to the east of here. Didn't really hit this region. Two days before we get on a ship.

Well plans made by mice and men have changed. We are now hoping to get out of here next week some time! We are going to follow the west coastal line to Cal. the ocean pulls us more. Some one told us not to go to Sendona yet as it is cold thereat this time of year. I guess we will do i more into March time frame.

I'm now back in my Inn shaped cage once again. Not to be let out again until 5th Dec.

Enjoy your trip! Maybe it the Atlantic Ocean that is pulling from the east…. Many innkeepers to meet over this way!

Have a good trip and don't fall into the swamps or get take by pirates!
