As of last week, we no longer offer the 4 AM breakfast time. Breakfast is now between 6 AM and 10 AM.
The ladies with horses ticked off the farmer enough that he said NO MORE! I e-mailed the site that was most productive (had not paid the other site yet) to remove us. I said nothing about a refund because I had no problem with that being the annual gee. He refunded $25 saying I had been with him since 2000 and had 7 months left on my listing.
He said he has had several stables close to overnight because of difficult owners. The horse were no problem but the demands of the owners plus their attitude put them over the line. He said rather than being grateful there WAS a stable, they were demanding and now there is no stable available. We were the only one that was halfway between the east coast horse farms and Kentucky and the perfect first night from Canada going to South Carolina or Florida. THOSE are the people I feel so sorry for as I have no clue where they can go now. Most were very nice people.

You have tried your best it is out of your hands
one door closes..another one opens

Sorry it didn't work out. I hate it when bad apples spoil it for everybody. Enjoy your sleep!

See this is what winds me up - people who think they are doing you a favour - now they have lost stabling for all horse travel for all other people who might be well behaved and reasonable - what charmers!

Well this will give you some time to think up another angle to get BETTER and GRATEFUL guests in who appreciate the service you provide and set up.
