This could be big. The experts are always telling us people want activities. They don't just want to see things. They want to do things. It would be great to be able to point guests to local guides to various area activities, willing guides we currently don't know of. Of course, they'd need to be vetted to make sure they do it well.

Our tourism board has been pushing this for awhile now. People want experiences. They don't just want to go and look at something. They want to be involved.
I was at a meeting last week where that's pretty much all we talked about. I actually have a rep from the board coming out to see me to help me find a way to partner with another operator (tour boat, fishing, hiking, etc.) and offer some sort of package on the government website. These types of things have been very successful in our area.
