Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Innmates

Wanted to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving and for those that don't celebrate this holiday have a Happy Day! Very grateful for this forum and the people on it.
Gobble gobble!

The bird was stuffed when in the oven. WE are now totally stuffed - for the second time (the grazing run).
I have THE BEST Pumpkin Pie recipe- calls for bourbon or rum- so I used Jameson and pumpkin I cooked in October.
We hope everyone had the feast we did and had family to share it. #1 Grandson (we have 5) came for the weekend from DC. A first and (we hope) not the last.

Happy Thanksgiving. As you can imagine, the weekend festivities kept me away from the computer.
Made dinner for 17 at my house and carried it to my Dad's. It was a hit. Friday is the annual 'soup-off.' This year's contestants were my brother and my Dad (using his health aide as arms and legs.) The judges are the next generation - Dad's grandkids. It was a tie, but both soups were awesome.
Saturday was decorating day. The place looks great! I was exhausted!!!
Yesterday, we did standard weekend chores and hung out. Our football team won.
All in all - a great weekend!

Thank you! I had a great vacation and a wonderful weekend with friends and family back at my parents' place! The Inn hosted the Extended Family of 42 plus 4 guests! (from other countries on their first Thanksgiving Day celebration.) Now to decorate the place before my aunt skips the country with another aunt!
