I got a Google alert that took me to a Pinterest page where someone has posted tons of b&b rooms. Can you link a photo to a website on Pinterest? I'm wondering if this is another OTA scammer posting photos with links to booking.
I don't have an account on there so I can't see if there is a link.
The photo is really old, not even sure where they found it.

Are you sure you don't have an account?
There is a pinterest page with the name of your place dot com ... I don't exactly know how pinterest works. If people grab pictures from your place and give the url maybe that's how the page is created? You should try to log in, change the password, and claim it.
I just pinned one of those pictures to my pinterest page and if I click on visit, it takes me to your website.
But if I share a picture someone else posted, and they got it someplace else, the link takes me to someplace else.
There are a few referencing your place. One goes to bnb finder but there is no link to you on finder, one links to serious eats ... another says beautiful beds and that goes to finder. Where you have no listing.

Great. Did I set it up years ago and forget it??? OK, let me give it a try. Thanks.
Looks like I do have an account. Waiting for new password.
Well, that didn't work. And when I clicked on the link for more help it took me to a page in a language I don't recognize.

Can you send me a link to the page that is supposedly mine? I've tried all my email accounts and none of them are valid.
Thanks!

Hi Morticia,
If someone has a Pinterest page and is on a website and they decide to pin a photo they like on their Pinterest board it will save the URL of whatever site they found the photo on.
The only way to keep that from happening is to remove the photo from whatever website they found it on. If it is going to a valid site where they can book with you then that is great.
Definitely, start a Pinterest board, it is great advertising and the more people pin from your board the more free advertising you get.
Let me know if you need more Pinterest tips, I got lots of them!
