Hooray For Tessie

Just spent a few hours chatting with a nice young man. They were at a local restaurant dining and charging their Tesla with a Universal charger - think V e r y S l o oo o w charge - when the power went off. He called, I gave directions, and I hurriedly removed ironing board and ironed pillowcases from the dining room and cleared cards, bills, and note cards from the table.
This may turn into a regular guest next year when they get season tickets again. Thanks to getting the upstairs looking good to show yesterday to the Paddleboarding couple, I was able to show off the B & B.
As soon as the Paddle guy gets a rider on his insurance covering me, we will be offering paddleboarding trips on my river. I am always looking and open to another activity to give a reason to stay here. This is something new and I am hoping we can help each other with business.

Lucky "nice young man" and lucky you. Win-win. We take them where we can find them. Takes a mix of people to make a business a success.

Good for you! I just saw that our local Visitor Center has installed a charging station. I was shocked. Didn't think they knew how to do that. Would be a good thing for folks to suggest to their own visitor center / Chamber.
