TA Certificates of Excellence later this year?

Just got the notice. Seems like it was a lot earlier last year.

Today was the day.

This was the first year we didn't get a certificate. That's because I'm done with sending my guests to TA to write reviews. The volume just wasn't there, and I'm ok with that.

Due to their recent changes I may not ask for reviews as much going forward. For now though TA is an important non-Air way of finding us. In web searches for lodging, inns, B&B etc......TA places too high to ignore.

Thanks Anon. It's been curious how many Google reviews we've gotten lately. I don't know how that's been happening!

I stopped last year when they wouldn't help me with a bad review. Still managed to get the award. But, no, I didn't click to have them send me anything.

They have a listed in a town no one goes to. Is it our legal USPS address? Yes, but it's nowhere near us. No one does a search for the town we're listed in. As I've always told the TA reps, we sent more prospective guests to the TA website than they ever send to us.
Even my TripConnect bill each month is less than $5.00. I get more action on my free listing on Yelp.

Didn't they used to come out in February?
I read all the TA complaints in this thread and agree, but for us 75% of our guests who fill out our in room questionnaire still say that TA reviews was one of the key factors in deciding to book with us.
