Now is the Time....

Now is the time for all wonderful innkeepers to sign up for B & Bs For Vets. We will start the sign-ups very shortly. We have already started in the UK with Thanking Our Forces.
for the newbies: B & Bs For Vets is B & Bs around the Country making a minimum of 1 room available - totally free of charge, no strings - either Nov 10 or 11 (innkeeper choice). The reservation is made as any other - cc# and everything and ALL inn policies are in effect for cancel/no show - and they are told that if they cancel/no show they WILL be charged. On arrival, they show either Military ID (Active Duty, Retired, Reserves, National Guard) or Veterans Admin ID (all other Veterans) and there is no charge for that 1 night in honor of Veterans Day.
This says thank you to those who have served and gets a lot of publicity for the B & B industry in general and the participating inns specifically. Many inns have reported getting paid reservations because they participated.
EVEN if you participated before. PLEASE reregister as we do not assume you are doing it again.

I will if I get the word. It still says 2016, but will be updated very soon. We had a meeting Monday.
