What is wrong with some people? I just got a 1-star review... never been here, doesn't know this part of the city.
I'm afraid that I'm going to need to document this and then call up a lawyer and have a letter delivered to him. Why would you open yourself up to a libel lawsuit?
 
We have 4 of those on Facebook. No comment, just the star rating.
 
Have you been able to find out any personal information about him? Could you track him down?
Your response was spot on. You have other great reviews and personally, I would let this go. It happened to me years ago and for some reason, google dropped the review. I have no idea why. Google will not remove a review when you claim libel. Only if you prove to them you have filed a suit. At least that's what they told me those many years ago.
 
What a mean thing to do. Who knows why? Very good response by you. There ought to be a way to get this removed!
 
Ah, the light! Found out where it came from. Friend of a neighbour who hates us. Of course, this puts into question each and every one of his reviews...

Slightly ot - but I am so tired of hate. Why work so hard to hurt someone?
I hope, with this new info, you are able to have the review removed.
